The British and Irish Lions face the ultimate test this June and July when they travel to New Zealand to take on the All Blacks.
Now an agreement with Sky Sports – live broadcaster and the official licensee in the UK and Ireland – means that viewers will be able to enjoy free-to-air highlights coverage of each game in the Welsh language.
S4C will broadcast highlights of all 10 fixtures including the three Test matches against the back-to-back world champions.
The coverage, produced by Sunset and Vine Cymru and Sports Media Services, will start on Saturday 3 June, with the opening match of the tour against the Provincial Union XV.
The first Test against the All Blacks takes place on Saturday June 24 at Auckland’s Eden Park with the second held a week later at Wellington’s Westpac Stadium.
The final Test is back at Eden Park on July 8.
S4C is available on all platforms in Wales and on Sky, Freesat and Virgin Media all over the UK.
It means as well as attracting thousands of rugby fans in Wales there will be major interest across the border into tuning into the match.
